Like I said this is what I could think of just off the top of my head, and I am not saying or implying they apply in this circumstance at all. I do not believe the policy here has EVER changed, however I need to allow for the possibility it has. Sometimes, fixing something can have catastrophic consequences later, which is why typically a GM is hands off, except under specific direction.Īnother possibility, things change over time. If it involved a bug, only with very specific dev instructions on how to resolve the issue if it was a major issue until it could be patched. Off the top of my head, it was a valid request a GM could help with. In the old days, as you say and they were able to help you, please keep a few things in mind. I know it will not satiate you or your frustration, but sometimes knowing the reason why, when put into perspective, can help.
